Why we collect it

To provide the service (your account, displaying reviews) and improve your experience. This is our legitimate interest under GDPR.

What we don't do

Sell your data to third parties, send spam, or transfer data outside the US/EU without safeguards.

How long we keep it

While your account is active. If you delete your account, your data is permanently removed within 30 days.

Your rights

You can export or delete your data anytime. You also have the right to access, correct, or restrict processing of your data. EU users can lodge a complaint with their local data protection authority.

Cookies

We use essential cookies (login, preferences) and optional functional cookies. You can manage these in the cookie banner.

Anonymous Analytics

If you accept functional cookies, we collect anonymous page view analytics to understand how visitors use the site. This data helps us improve the experience.

What we collect: pages visited, country and city (coarse geolocation), device type (desktop/mobile/tablet), browser name, OS name, and referring domain. We do not store your IP address, precise coordinates, or raw browser fingerprint.

How it works: Your IP address is hashed with a daily rotating salt (SHA-256) for deduplication only. The hash cannot be reversed to recover your IP. No cookies are set for analytics — tracking is server-side only.

Third-party services: We use ipapi.co (via HTTPS) to determine your approximate location from your IP address. Your IP is sent to this service but is not stored by us. See ipapi.co's privacy policy.

Data retention: Analytics data is automatically deleted after 90 days. Administrators can also manually purge data at any time.

Be respectful

Keep reviews honest and civil. No hate speech, harassment, or spam.

Your content

You own your reviews and comments. We display them on Resono to other users.

Age requirement

You must be at least 13 years old to use Resono.

Account security

Keep your password safe. You're responsible for activity on your account.

Service changes

We may update features or these terms. Continued use means you accept changes.

Movie information and images are provided by TMDB. This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB. All movie posters, backdrops, and related imagery are the property of their respective copyright holders.

Video content

Trailers and video content are hosted by and sourced from YouTube. All video content remains the property of its respective owners.

User content

Reviews, ratings, and comments are owned by their respective authors. By posting on Resono, you grant us a license to display your content on the platform.

DMCA & takedown requests

If you believe content on Resono infringes your copyright, contact us at support@resono.studio with details. We aim to review and respond to all takedown requests within two weeks.
