Overview

Based on true events occurring in 1996 near the Vaigai Dam, the film portrays the lives of Rokkapuli and Paandi, two men with checkered pasts who have been displaced from their ancestral lands. In a desperate attempt to reclaim their livelihood and achieve wealth, they turn to the dangerous trade of ganja peddling. However, when an external threat looms over their village, their inherent sense of loyalty and protection for their community takes precedence. Utilizing their past skills in explosives and street combat, they transition from criminals to reluctant guardians, facing formidable challenges to ensure the safety and survival of their people against overwhelming odds.
