Overview
In this emotionally dense family drama, director Jeong Seung-o examines the complexities of familial responsibility and personal freedom. The narrative centers on Cheol-taek, an aging alcoholic who is diagnosed with stage four terminal cancer. The burden of his care falls solely onto his daughter, Jeong-mi, a struggling actress who is barely making ends meet while attempting to maintain her career. As she navigates the physical and emotional toll of caregiving, her estranged mother, Hyeon-suk, also fights for her own autonomy against her siblings' demands.
