Overview
On the last day of Earth as a cataclysmic flood begins to submerge the entire planet, AI researcher Gu An-na and her young son find themselves trapped in their third-floor apartment as water levels rise at an alarming rate. Security agent Son Hee-jo is dispatched on a high-stakes mission to rescue An-na, whose scientific knowledge is essential for the future of humanity. As the building sinks and time runs out, the survivors must overcome claustrophobic conditions and a series of increasingly desperate obstacles. The film blends traditional disaster movie elements with a confounding sci-fi twist involving time loops and the ethical boundaries of artificial intelligence.
