The picture
Donghwa is a struggling poet in his thirties who seeks a life dedicated to beauty and truth, rejecting the materialism of modern society. One afternoon, he drives his girlfriend Junhee to visit her parents at their suburban home. There, he meets her father, a man fascinated by Donghwa's beat-up car, her mother, who also enjoys writing poetry, and her reclusive sister. The family spends an extended day together, engaging in lively conversations about life and art over food and drinks. As the day turns to evening and the drinking increases, Donghwa’s revolutionary ideals and personal relationships are put to the ultimate test during a chaotic dinner.
