Gundamma Katha

Gundamma is a domineering and proud widow who ill-treats her step-daughter Lakshmi, making her work as a maid, while pampering her own arrogant daughter Saroja. Two brothers, Anji and Raja, decide to humble Gundamma and marry the girls. Anji, posing as a servant, marries Lakshmi to protect her, while Raja falls in love with Saroja. Through a series of elaborate schemes, disguises, and comedic misunderstandings, the brothers manage to break Gundamma's pride and reveal the true character of her daughters. Inspired by Shakespeare's 'The Taming of the Shrew', this film is a beloved family drama featuring the iconic duo of N. T. Rama Rao and Akkineni Nageswara Rao.
