The picture

Tae-jeo is a stoic correctional officer with fifteen years of experience working in a women's prison. Her life follows a rigid, principled routine until she learns of the death of an inmate's mother. After a permit for the inmate to attend the funeral is rejected, Tae-jeo visits the funeral home herself on the inmate's behalf. There, she unexpectedly encounters and befriends Jun-young, the inmate's teenage daughter. This meeting sparks a warm transformation in Tae-jeo’s bleak existence as she begins to navigate a delicate, unauthorized emotional connection with the girl, leading her to question the boundaries of her professional and personal life.
