Kuberaa

Kuberaa is a gritty social crime thriller that explores the vast divide between extreme wealth and crushing poverty. The story follows Deva Kalam (Dhanush), a kind-hearted beggar in Mumbai who finds himself caught in a massive money-laundering scheme involving ₹10,000 crores. Central to the plot is Neeraj Mitra (Jim Sarbh), a ruthless billionaire who discovers oil reserves in the Bay of Bengal and uses the "invisible" poor as pawns to facilitate his corporate greed. To protect his interests, Neeraj enlists Deepak Tej (Nagarjuna Akkineni), a former CBI officer imprisoned for his refusal to yield to corruption. As their worlds collide, Sameera (Rashmika Mandanna), a middle-class woman with her own secrets, becomes a bridge between these disparate lives. The film delves into themes of ambition, the dark side of capitalism, and the quest for redemption as Deva eventually uses his newfound power to challenge the system.
