Month of Madhu

The film follows the parallel journeys of two individuals named Madhu. Madhusudhan Rao is a middle-aged man struggling with chronic alcoholism whose long-suffering wife, Lekha, has finally filed for divorce. Simultaneously, Madhumathi, a 19-year-old NRI girl from the US, arrives in Vizag for a family wedding while dealing with her own adolescent rebellions and identity crisis. When their paths cross, an unusual bond forms between the disillusioned older man and the anxious young woman. Through their interactions, the film provides a deeply realistic and poignant exploration of human relationships, the messiness of love, and the painful but necessary process of letting go.
