Nocturnal

Bae Min-tae is a former gang member attempting to lead a quiet life as a construction worker until his brother Seok-tae is found murdered in a karaoke bar. Adding to the mystery, Seok-tae's girlfriend Moon-young has disappeared without a trace. While investigating, Min-tae discovers that his brother's death mirrors the plot of a bestseller titled 'Nocturnal Trip' by author Kang Ho-ryeong. As Min-tae hunts for the truth through the gritty underworld of Seoul during a harsh winter, he finds himself caught between the police, a criminal organization, and a novelist who seems to know too much. The film is a dark, atmospheric neo-noir about revenge and moral decay.
