The picture

Sisters Joo-young and Joo-hee move into a newly purchased apartment, only to be plagued by mysterious and unidentifiable noises from the floors above. When Joo-hee suddenly disappears without a trace, Joo-young, who is hearing impaired and relies on a hearing aid, teams up with Joo-hee's boyfriend Ki-hoon to search for her. Their investigation leads them into the building's dark basement and reveals a terrifying supernatural secret tied to the apartment's past and a hostile neighbor downstairs who is also driven to madness by the unsettling sounds.
