The picture

Based on the true story of civilian divers who participated in the rescue efforts during the 2014 Sewol Ferry disaster, the film follows Na Kyung-soo, a veteran diver known as a 'Sea Tiger'. Years after the tragedy, Kyung-soo is forced to relive the trauma as he testifies in a trial where the government seeks to shift blame for a fellow diver's death onto the rescue team. Through an experimental and theatrical cinematic style, the movie exposes the physical and mental toll of decompression sickness and PTSD, while highlighting the political negligence surrounding the disaster.
