The picture

Shankar Dada, a local don in Hyderabad, falls for a radio jockey named Jahnavi. To win a chance to meet her, he enters a contest about the life and teachings of Mahatma Gandhi. While studying, Shankar begins to have hallucinations of Gandhi, whom he starts addressing as 'Bapu'. Guided by Gandhi's spirit, Shankar abandons his violent ways and adopts 'Gandhigiri' to solve social problems and settle disputes peacefully. His transformation confuses his colleagues and enemies alike, but his new path of non-violence eventually wins over the community and his love interest.
