Swag is a stylized black comedy thriller that spans several generations of the Vinjamara dynasty. The story revolves around a long-standing dispute over a royal inheritance and the patriarchal versus matriarchal shifts in a family's history. Sree Vishnu plays multiple characters across different timelines, including a modern-day police officer and a 16th-century king. As the various descendants discover their ancestral secrets and the 'Swaganika' lineage, they must contend with greed, deception, and a mysterious killer targeting the family. The film uses humor and non-linear storytelling to critique societal norms regarding gender and power while delivering a suspenseful mystery.
