The picture

Based on the legendary Korean novel Toemarok, this adult animated film follows Father Park, a doctor-turned-priest who was excommunicated for his belief in the supernatural. When a demonic uprising threatens the world, Father Park is recruited by an old friend from a magic-wielding temple to protect a powerful young boy named Jun-hu. Alongside a monk and a psychic, Father Park must battle malevolent spirits and face his own past tragedies to prevent the boy's power from falling into the hands of a corrupt master. The film covers the first chapter of the epic saga, focusing on the formation of the 'Exorcism Team' and their initial struggle against dark entities seeking to trigger a global apocalypse.
