Kumki 2 is an adventure drama directed by Prabhu Solomon, serving as a standalone sequel to his acclaimed 2012 film. The story follows Bhoomi, a young man who rescues a baby elephant named Nila from a pit and raises it with deep affection. Their bond is shattered when Bhoomi's mother secretly sells the elephant to poachers to pay off debts. After years of separation, Bhoomi discovers Nila has been earmarked for a ritual sacrifice during a lunar eclipse. He embarks on a frantic, dangerous mission through the dense forests of the Western Ghats to rescue his companion, confronting political greed and illegal wildlife trade.
