The picture
Following the coronation of Lord Rama, a commoner's doubt leads to the exile of the pregnant Queen Sita. She finds refuge in the ashram of Sage Valmiki, where she gives birth to twin sons, Lava and Kusa. The boys are raised as fierce warriors and talented singers who master the Ramayana without knowing they are Rama's children. When Rama performs the Ashwamedha Yagna, the twins challenge his authority by capturing the ritual horse and defeating his mighty army. The story culminates in a grand emotional confrontation between the father and sons, leading to Sita's ultimate sacrifice and the reunion of the family. This was the first full-length color film in Telugu cinema.
