The money says blockbuster. What do you say?
Set in the 1980s in a fictional rural village, Rangasthalam tells the story of Chitti Babu, a partially deaf and light-hearted man who earns a living through his boat and farm motor. The peace of the village is disturbed by the oppressive rule of the local 'President' and his corrupt cooperative society. When Chitti Babu's brother, Kumar Babu, decides to contest the village elections against the President, the narrative turns into a gritty tale of politics, betrayal, and revenge. Chitti Babu must use his unique sensory perspective and immense loyalty to protect his family and liberate the village.
