Overview

Retta Thala is a high-octane Tamil action thriller written and directed by Kris Thirukumaran. The film features Arun Vijay in a powerful dual role as Kaali and Malpe Upendra. The plot follows Kaali, a street-smart orphan living in Pondicherry, whose outlook on life is transformed when he encounters his exact lookalike, a wealthy and influential gangster named Upendra. Persuaded by his girlfriend Antre to steal the double's identity to escape poverty, Kaali enters a dangerous world of Goa's crime syndicates, police corruption, and high-stakes survival as he struggles to maintain his facade while being hunted by enemies.
