The picture
Ramu is a brave forest officer who goes undercover in a dense jungle to dismantle a powerful and illegal timber smuggling and poaching operation led by the villainous Dharmaraju and his son Nagaraju. Posing as a simple forest-dweller, Ramu wins the trust of the local tribal people and organizes them to fight back against the exploitation of their land. Along the way, he navigates a complex romantic situation involving the forest officer's daughter, Padma, and a tribal woman named Chilakamma. The film is celebrated for its action-packed sequences, lush cinematography, and for solidifying the 'masala' genre in Telugu cinema through its blend of adventure, music, and social justice.
